Description
The Ordacsehi Berek area consists largely of marshland, but the walk leads mainly through sandy grassland where you may encounter kupcar, repaljščica and rumena pastirica. There are shallow pools where kostanjevka and mlakarica swim. A section of the path is also flooded, and wading bird species such as jezerski martinec and zelenonogi martinec are often found here. There is also a small čebelar colony. Other birds you can see include: belorepec, pritlikavi kormoran, rakar, srpična trstnica, smrdokavra, rjava čaplja, velika bela čaplja, siva čaplja, kanja, and rjavi lunj.
