Description

Nymphenburger Schlosspark is a special protected area (FFH-Schutzgebiet) and includes various habitats. This means that a large number of birds can be observed all year round. Almost 200 species have already been identified here. The mature trees provide habitat for owls, especially the frequently seen Tawny Owl, woodpeckers and numerous species of songbirds. Many species of ducks and geese, divers, seagulls or even Common Kingfisher can be observed all year round on the many lakes and canals.
