Small area with shallow ponds, meadows and reedlands.

Description

The area consists of a few small shallow lakes. In winter, 10 species of ducks can be found here, as well as herons. In summer, waders and Eurasian Spoonbill can be found, as wel as Sedge Warbler and Savi's Warbler. But also a chance on nice birds as Garganey, Spotted Crake and Black-necked Grebe.

There are 2 small parking lots at the Meerweg and the Kleihoogt. The area itself can best be explored walking (or cycling).
