Description

The Iñurritza Biotope, to the east of the beach of Zarautz, is an ecosystem with several examples of the Basque Coast's rich biodiversity, including sea cliffs, salt marshes and dunes. It is one of the widest dune fields in the Basque Country. A walkway has recently been built to protect the dunes. It is a common stopping site for birds that are migrating.
