Description

Jardín Botánico Viera y Clavijo is the largest botanical garden in Spain and one of the best in the world. A walk through the 27 hectares will allow you to discover the varied flora. But the garden is also good for relaxed birding and seeing endemic subspecies. Among the birds you can see are African Blue Tit, Blackcap, Sardinian Warbler, Canary Islands Chiffchaff, Common Waxbill, Pied Flycatcher and European Goldfinch.

The botanical garden is located 7 kilometer southwest of the capital Las Palmas, Easy to reach by bus and car. Buslines 303, 302 and 311 make a stop here. For directions to the parking click on the P in the map.
