Description

The wetland consists of several different parts that offer different bird species. Closest to the crossroads up to the actual dam at the cycle and pedestrian path is a canal where there is bordered by open grasslands. The wetland above the dam during spring and autumn is an open water mirror that is easy to see and where waders and ducks are located. Further east beyond the large power line that crosses the wetland begins a reed sea that leads into a swamp forest. The swamp forest is surrounded by pine and spruce forest. All these different environments mean that there are many different kinds of birds on a fairly small area. Some birds you can see here:

Northern Lapwing, Grey Heron, Eurasian Coot, Great Crested Grebe, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Blackbird, Redwing, Wren,, Eurasian Nuthatch.
