Description

One of Sweden's most important bird observation areas. Large numbers of birds of many different species pass here during the migration periods in spring and autumn. Rarities often occur. There is also a visitor center with toilet, restaurant and a shop. The visitor center offers guided tours.

Access

The entire area is a bird protection area between 1/4 and 31/8 but accessible with paths, bird hides and bird towers. You can park at designated places (three) in the area. You have to stay on the constructed paths. Some paths are wheelchair-adapted. For a more detailed map - zoom in. The tracks and other features will emerge.

The entire area is bird protection area between 1/4 and 31/8 but accessible within the designated paths, places and areas. Common seals (Phoca vitulina) often can be seen, basking on the reefs just of the shore, as well as the occational grey seal (Halichoerus grypus).
