Nordhavnstippen mainly consists of two lakes and surrounding meadows, bushes, and reedbeds. The surrouding habitat is home to králíček obecný, střízlík obecný, pěnkava obecná etc. In the lakes, it is common to encounter wintering polák chocholačka, hvízdák eurasijský, and kopřivka obecná etc. Other winter visitors include sněhule severní and čečetka zimní, while in the summer it welcomes skřivan polní and potápka rudokrká.
