Description
Get up early with high tide, before the dogwalkers appear, and the beach will have plenty of birds in easy reach of a short stroll. ústřičník velký, koliha velká, volavka popelavá and vodouš rudonohý are all likely on the beach around the waterline. kamenáček pestrý, vrána šedá and Konipas bílý ssp yarrellii may be more likely on exposed seaweed or flotsam around the tide mark. havran polní is also possible. kormorán chocholatý is most likely hauled out on rocky outcrops, although kormorán velký is becoming more common in recent times. racek chechtavý is common with occasional racek černohlavý. kajka mořská and kachna divoká are likely in the water.
For a slightly longer walk a path goes along the cliffs at the north end of the bay where linduška skalní, bramborníček černohlavý and kavče červenozobé could be encountered.

Douglas is located on the southeastern coast of Isle of Man. The beach is a short walk from the ferry terminal, and likely near to your hotel if you are staying in Douglas.
