Description
The proximity to the Ulcinj salina and exit to the Adriatic sea makes the island Ada Bojana a great migration route for birds. Large flocks of čírka modrá, lžičák pestrý, hvízdák eurasijský, racek malý, racek černohlavý fly over the island on migration. It is wintering site for great numbers of potáplice malá and rybák severní, but potáplice severní, Buřňák šedý (ssp. diomedea) and turpan hnědý too. During breeding season ibis hnědý and kolpík bílý feed in the marshes.

Access
Ada Bojana can be accessed by car, but if you want to visit whole beach and other parts of island you need to go by foot. Click on a P in the map for directions to a parking spot.
