Description
Broom Lakes are former gravel pits that have become a nice habitat with pools and wet meadows that are interesting for many water birds and waders. When you walk around Broom Lakes you can - depending on the season - see good numbers of duck, including husice liščí, čírka obecná, hvízdák eurasijský, polák chocholačka, kopřivka obecná and kachna divoká. Both potápka roháč and potápka malá are often seen. Other birds that can be seen here include rybák obecný, kulík říční, kulík písečný, ústřičník velký, čejka chocholatá, vodouš rudonohý, morčák velký, strnad rákosní, strnad obecný, luňák červený, káně lesní and poštolka obecná.
