Description
Chafford Gorges is a beautiful nature reserve set in amongst a new build housing estate, with lakes overlooked by a huge white ravine. A network of pathways take you around lakes, meadows and woodland. Among the birds that you can expect to see are ledňáček říční, strakapoud velký, žluna zelená, břehule říční, lžičák pestrý, polák chocholačka, potápka malá, krahujec obecný, rákosník proužkovaný, rákosník obecný, pěnice černohlavá, stehlík obecný and cetie jižní. In winter, the gorges are visited by birds such as čížek lesní, čečetka tmavá and polák velký.

The park is within walking distance of Chafford Hundred railway station. When you choose to arrive by car there is a free car park on site. Click on the P in the map to get directions.
