Coll RSPB reserve

Description

Coll RSPB reserve has a car park and visitor centre. chřástal polní breed in the area. Coll and Tiree have one third of the UK population. konopka žlutozobá, moták pilich and dřemlík tundrový also breed. The island is a vital stopover and wintering area for arctic breeders such as husa krátkozobá, Greenland husa běločelá and berneška bělolící, potáplice lední, skuas, jespák mořský, kamenáček pestrý and godwits. buřňák severní and storm petrels offshore.

Access

Coll is reached by ferry from Oban. Delays are likely. The reserve is six miles SW of Arinagour, pass the airstrip and turn left to Totronald.
