Description
Located 800 feet up and three quarters of a mile from the nearest road, Edgehills is surrounded by oak and pine woodland. It contains flowers such as brooklime, gorse, figwort, ladys mantle, heath bedstraw, tormentil and lousewort. The pond attracts dragonflies and amphibians, hence ostříž lesní is a possibility. Look out for sluka lesní and lelek lesní on late spring evenings. Also brhlík lesní, šoupálek dlouhoprstý, bramborníček černohlavý, budníček lesní, woodpeckers and strnad obecný.
