Description
The area around Errwood Reservoir is a good site for many upland woodland species such as lejsek černohlavý, rehek zahradní, linduška lesní and lejsek šedý and the best time to visit is in spring when the birds are in song. budníček lesní is also present some years. pisík obecný, kulík říční and kachnička mandarinská can be found around the southern end of the reservoir itself and Bělokur rousný and koliha velká are common on the surrounding moors. skorec vodní and konipas horský inhabit the stream to the south of the reservoir and several species of raptor can often be seen in flight over the valley.

Access
There is a fairly large car park in the south west corner of Errwood Reservior and from there you can take the paths and road to the south through the woods and along the riversdie path.
