Description
At Ewelme the overgrown watercress beds provide shelter for rodents, which in turn attracts bird predators such as Sova pálená, luňák červený, 3 egret species and volavka popelavá. Smaller birds include zvonek zelený, stehlík obecný, pěnice černohlavá and strnad rákosní, pursued by krahujec obecný. King's Pool may have ledňáček říční, potápka malá, Slípka zelenonohá, polák chocholačka and lyska černá.

Access
From Oxford take A423 south for 12 miles then minor road left through Benson. There is no car park at the Watercress beds but onstreet parking in the village centre, plus car park near playground. Reserve access is free and unrestricted. Visitor centre admission £3, restricted hours.
