Description
At Gunthorpe Gravel Pits 120+ species of bird have been seen, including morčák malý, morčák velký and morčák prostřední in winter, when čejka chocholatá, lžičák pestrý and teal can be numerous on flooded fields. Spring brings rákosník obecný, rákosník proužkovaný, cvrčilka zelená to breed, and rybák černý, bělořit šedý and bramborníček hnědý on migration. In summer, ostříž lesní hunt swallows over the ponds.
