Description
Kelling Quag is a patch of water in an area also known as Kelling Water Meadows. The norm is to park next to The Old Reading Room cafe (or, if you use this excellent cafe, ask to leave car). Walk north along track towards sea. On the right (east) there are always loads of hares as well as bekasina otavní, slučka malá and waders. Next is a large scrape pool which has been great for lyskonoh úzkozobý, lyskonoh ploskozobý, ducks geese, etc. Has been known for slavík modráček, rákosník zpěvný, shrikes and a multitude of rarer birds.
