Description
The area has a mixture of habitats including more open areas of grassland, a good selection of trees, most of which are best described as being young, including Ash (Fraxinus), Oak (Quercus), Alder (Alnus), Hazel (Corylus), Cherry (Prunus) and Sycamore (Acer) and boundary hedges.
Most birds are of more common species, kukačka obecná and cvrčilka zelená are sometimes seen but more regularly heard and are more than likely to be just passage migrants. Both budníček menší and pěnice černohlavá are regular summer visitors and some may overwinter. budníček větší are summer visitors and vlaštovka obecná can be seen feeding over the open grass areas.
