Description
Malham Cove is a regular nest site for sokol stěhovavý, jiřička obecná, sýček obecný, rehek zahradní and bělořit šedý. RSPB volunteers with telescope in attendance. Malham Tarn is a National Nature Reserve and SSSI. There are breeding vodouš rudonohý, konipas luční, konipas horský, skorec vodní, čejka chocholatá, pisík obecný and water voles. Possibility of kulík hnědý in autumn and sněhule severní in winter.

Access
Malham is a short way north of the A65 transpennine road from Lancaster to Skipton. There is no car parking at the Cove, park in Malham village and walk or cycle up. For Malham tarn, leave Malham northward on Cove road and turn right at crossroads.
