Description
The main attraction of Stack Rocks is the sea bird colony best viewed from May to early July when thousands of alkoun úzkozobý crowd on to the Stacks to breed together with smaller numbers of alka malá, kormorán chocholatý and racek tříprstý. kavče červenozobé are regular here as are sokol stěhovavý. In the spring and summer bělořit šedý are common on the rocky grassland of the clifftops. In the winter a walk eastwards towards St Govans may produce dřemlík tundrový, possibly moták pilich and good flocks of kulík zlatý. Offshore the occasional Diver is possible.

Access
These sea stacks are next to Castlemartin M.O.D. Range (military range). Park at the free car park at SR926946. The road down to the Stacks, west of Merrion Camp, is usually closed during the day wid-week and some weekends due to M.O.D. activity - ring 01646 662367 to check access. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 1,2 km.
