Description
Tentsmuir Forest National Nature Reserve provides a variety of wildlife. The area has woods, mud and sand estuary, heath and sand dunes. Grey seals float effortlessly on their backs upriver on a rising tide, only their rounded noses showing above water. In September/October waders are varied (up to 13 species though not numerous). hoholka lední, polák kaholka, kajka mořská, hohol severní and turpan černý offshore. sluka lesní, králíček obecný and křivka obecná in the woods. bramborníček černohlavý, bramborníček hnědý, bělořit šedý and linduška luční on the dunes.
