Description
This stretch of the river Truro is an appealing site for a quick visit being close to central Truro. Parking is easy and free along the road or at adjacent Boscowan Park. View from Sunny Corner or the wooded walk to Malpas. Best known for a varied selection of waders including wintering flocks of up to 100 břehouš černoocasý and 400 jespák obecný. The area is easy to access by walking, car, taxi or bicycle from Truro. There is an irregular bus service from Truro. Sunny Corner is accessible for wheelchairs. Above the Sunny Corner garden there are 2 viewpoints giving views up Calenick Creek where birds roost at high-tide.
