Description
Wrabness has many varied habitats. The woods have nesting hrdlička divoká and slavík obecný, also many spring flowers especially bluebells. The wildflower meadows have strnad luční and bramborníček černohlavý. In autumn and winter the marshy areas attract tenkozobec opačný, jespák rezavý, kamenáček pestrý, kolpík bílý, egrets, and on the estuary, scoters, divers, morčák prostřední, hvízdák eurasijský and hohol severní.

Access
From Colchester take A12 east for 15 miles then left on minor road and right at crossroads, the RSPB reserve car park is half mile ahead on the left. Nearest rail station at Wrabness, half mile from the reserve. EWT reserve also has car parking. 2.1 metre height barrier. Click on a P in the map to get directions to a parking. Buses between Manningtree and Harwich go past the RSPB reserve.
