Gravière Vogelau is a former gravel pit, now transformed into a landscape featuring ponds and wetlands. Many Skarv and Gråand are seen throughout the year, often with Canadagås and some Grågås. In winter, Troldand and Knarand are common, and sometimes Pibeand and even Spidsand are also seen.

Gravière Vogelau is located 8 km north of Strasbourg. From Strasbourg, take the road heading north towards Schiltigheim. You can park along the streets. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot. Best to explore the area on foot.
