Description
The Uzdin fish farm lies halfway between the two biggest floodable areas in the Tamiš River floodplain, the Baranda-Sakule-Čenta triangle and the Sutjeska-Neuzina-Sečanj fish farms' complexes. It is a good year-round birding destination, mostly for waterfowl.
The fish farm and the surrounding humid grasslands and reedbeds (where last winter significant areas of mature reeds disappeared in flames) are part of the IBA Srednje Potamišje and the landscape of exceptional features Potamišje.

Access
The fish farm is private property, and the owners are not very keen on birders. You can contact the property and test your luck, or stick with the recommended public paths drawn in the map below. One of the best public points to observe the fishponds is an elevation at the edge of the village (marked on the map) from which a view of the largest fishpond can be enjoyed. Also, there is a local paved road west of the village leading through the humid grasslands to the Tamiš River.
