Description
The mouth of the Riera de Ribes stream can be found at the end of the seafront in Sitges. The most interesting ornithological aspect of the site are the seabirds, with interesting species like Audouinsmåge, Sorthovedet Måge, Splitterne, Topskarv, and Sule. Some rarer species that can be seen are the Kuhls Skråpe, Middelhavs-skråpe and Balearskråpe. In winter Toppet Skallesluger has been seen several years.
In the reeds Cettisanger, Rørsanger, Helena-astrild, Rørspurv, and Sorthovedet Sanger can be heard and seen. Aquatic species like Gråand, Silkehejre, Kohejre, Fiskehejre and Isfugl are present in the water course.
Close to the mouth of Riera de Ribes is the Golf Club Terramar, and the greens are good to look for birds like Vestlig Sortstrubet Bynkefugl, Engpiber, Husrødstjert, and Hærfugl.

The mouth of the Riera de Ribes is located at the seafront in Sitges, and can be reached by car, or by walking if you are in Sitges. You can park right there (click on the P on the map for further directions).
