The fields near the village of Rodersdorf are very natural with many hedges and fallow areas in which Tornsanger, Rødrygget Tornskade, and Bynkefugl breed. Part of the area is a small nature reserve where Drosselrørsanger and other reed inhabitants can be found. Breeding at the church are Allike. In autumn, many birds of prey such as Fiskeørn, Hedehøg, Rørhøg, Blå Kærhøg and Hvepsevåge pass through. In addition, Sort Stork move across the area every year. It is also one of the best Gul Vipstjert spots in the region.
