Description
The brickworks only closed in the 1980’s and since then the buildings were cleared with just concrete foundations and a brick wharf giving any hint to the history of this site. Sydlig Nattergal and Turteldue can be heard, and a colony of Sorthovedet Måge are usually found nesting offshore on Fowley Island. Among the other birds you can encounter in the area are Gærdesanger, Knortegås, Gravand, Gøg, Toppet Skallesluger, Klyde, Strandskade, Strandhjejle, Vibe, Storspove, Almindelig Ryle and Stor Kobbersneppe.
