Description
Hooks Links is named after its previous usage as a nine-hole golf course. Shingle coast with lots of waders. Behind the beach mud flats, reed beds and scapes with gorse and meander pools. Good for waders, Silkehejre, Stenpikker, Gul Vipstjert and Bynkefugl. Skægmejse are regularly seen, also Provence-sanger. Look in the sea for Ederfugl, Common scotter and divers. Access
Park on road just south of Maritime college. Numerous footpaths to the beach which take you past reed beds. See the suggested route (4,5 km) on the map below. Click on the P in the map to get directions to the parking area.
