The area around Llanarmon DC is predominantly consisting of managed upland moor and shooting estate with sheep farming. Wonderful landscape with peace and solitude in abundance. Great for seeing Rød Glente and occasional sightings of Blå Kærhøg and Lærkefalk. In early summer you can observe Gøg ( usually heard rather than seen) and some Storspove pairs on the tops. Vandstær along the local streams. Grå Fluesnapper nests locally.
