Description
On the islands of Loch Maree Islands National Nature Reserve Rødstrubet Lom and Sortstrubet Lom nest. Fiskeørn, Havørn, Kongeørn, Vandrefalk, Blå Kærhøg, Musvåge and Ravn may be seen overhead. Lille Korsnæb, woodpeckers, Skovsneppe, Skovsanger, Broget fluesnapper and Spætmejse in the woods. Perhaps Silkehale in winter. Pine marten are fairly common in the area and may visit the feeders in the car parks. Red deer, roe deer and red squirrels, possibly wild cat.

Access
There are several parking spots along the main road. The site is 60 miles west of Inverness and 105 miles north of Fort William. Boat trips available from the Maree Hotel.
