Description
Loddon Nature Reserve entails a lake with surrounding trees, familiar to anyone who has visited nearby Dinton Pastures. A path circles the lake and connects with a route to Dinton Pastures along the Loddon river, making the area perfect for birding.
On the lake expect to see Knopsvane, Troldand, Skeand and Grågås. In the shallows look out for Mandarin-and and Rørhøne. This is also a good site for seeing woodland birds including Stor Flagspætte, Træløber and Skovskade.
