Description
Malham Cove is a regular nest site for Vandrefalk, Bysvale, Kirkeugle, Rødstjert and Stenpikker. RSPB volunteers with telescope in attendance. Malham Tarn is a National Nature Reserve and SSSI. There are breeding Rødben, Gul Vipstjert, Bjergvipstjert, Vandstær, Vibe, Mudderklire and water voles. Possibility of Pomeransfugl in autumn and Snespurv in winter.

Access
Malham is a short way north of the A65 transpennine road from Lancaster to Skipton. There is no car parking at the Cove, park in Malham village and walk or cycle up. For Malham tarn, leave Malham northward on Cove road and turn right at crossroads.
