Description
On the island of Tiree 133 bird species have been seen. The freshwater Loch a'Phuill attracts waders such as Sortklire, Pomeransfugl, Hvidklire and Mudderklire. In the dunes there may be Lapværling, Snespurv, Engsnarre, Mosehornugle or Græshoppesanger. The cliffs at Ceann a Mhara are a useful seawatch point in autumn and have breeding Lomvie, Alk, Mallemuk, Ride, Topskarv and perhaps Vandrefalk or Alpekrage.

Access
Tiree is reached by ferry from the mainland, or by air from Glasgow. The loch and cliffs are accessed from Barrapol or Balephuil in the island's SW corner.
