Beschreibung
Nordhavnstippen mainly consists of two lakes and surrounding meadows, bushes, and reedbeds. The surrouding habitat is home to Wintergoldhähnchen, Zaunkönig, Buchfink etc. In the lakes, it is common to encounter wintering Reiherente, Pfeifente, and Schnatterente etc. Other winter visitors include Schneeammer and Birkenzeisig, while in the summer it welcomes Feldlerche and Rothalstaucher. Out in the sea, Kormoran and Eiderente are common, and with a bit of luck, you can also spot feeding Basstölpel. During migration, the strait next to Nordhavstippen is a busy flyway, offering chances to see species like Fischadler and Kranich.
