Gravière Vogelau is a former gravel pit, now transformed into a landscape featuring ponds and wetlands. Many Kormoran and Stockente are seen throughout the year, often with Kanadagans and some Graugans. In winter, Reiherente and Schnatterente are common, and sometimes Pfeifente and even Spießente are also seen.
