Beschreibung
Get up early with high tide, before the dogwalkers appear, and the beach will have plenty of birds in easy reach of a short stroll. Austernfischer, Großer Brachvogel, Graureiher and Rotschenkel are all likely on the beach around the waterline. Steinwälzer, Nebelkrähe and Trauerbachstelze may be more likely on exposed seaweed or flotsam around the tide mark. Saatkrähe is also possible. Krähenscharbe is most likely hauled out on rocky outcrops, although Kormoran is becoming more common in recent times. Lachmöwe is common with occasional Schwarzkopfmöwe. Eiderente and Stockente are likely in the water.
For a slightly longer walk a path goes along the cliffs at the north end of the bay where Strandpieper, Schwarzkehlchen and Alpenkrähe could be encountered.
