A bay heavily overgrown with reeds and marshy shores - therefore observations in this place are only possible from a large distance, using a telescope. The places from where you can observe the bay are located on a hill, providing a great view. At any time of year, there are many water birds in the bay. During migrations and in winter, these are mainly flocks of: Stockente, Schnatterente, Pfeifente, Krickente, Löffelente, Reiherente, Bläßhuhn, Haubentaucher, Zwergtaucher, Zwergmöwe (up to several thousand individuals), Höckerschwan, Singschwan, Bläßgans, Tundrasaatgans, Gänsesäger, Zwergsäger and Schellente. During the breeding season Trauerseeschwalbe and Weißbart-Seeschwalbe nest in this area. The bay is a regular hunting ground for Seeadler and Fischadler (spring and summer).

The best place to observe is near the village of Skarchowo - look for elevations. The shores of the bay are inaccessible, there are no roads passable for cars. The suggested parking place is marked on the map. Press P on the map for directions.
