The mouth of the Riera de Ribes stream can be found at the end of the seafront in Sitges. The most interesting ornithological aspect of the site are the seabirds, with interesting species like Korallenmöwe, Schwarzkopfmöwe, Brandseeschwalbe, Krähenscharbe, and Basstölpel. Some rarer species that can be seen are the Gelbschnabelsturmtaucher, Mittelmeer-Sturmtaucher and Balearensturmtaucher. In winter Mittelsäger has been seen several years.
In the reeds Seidensänger, Teichrohrsänger, Wellenastrild, Rohrammer, and Samtkopf-Grasmücke can be heard and seen. Aquatic species like Stockente, Seidenreiher, Kuhreiher, Graureiher and Eisvogel are present in the water course.
Close to the mouth of Riera de Ribes is the Golf Club Terramar, and the greens are good to look for birds like Schwarzkehlchen, Wiesenpieper, Hausrotschwanz, and Wiedehopf.

The mouth of the Riera de Ribes is located at the seafront in Sitges, and can be reached by car, or by walking if you are in Sitges. You can park right there (click on the P on the map for further directions).
