Beschreibung
The summit of the Suchet offer a magnificient 360° view above the Swiss plateau (with lake Neuchâtel and lake Léman) and french Jura. It is especially worth a visit in late autumn when the lowlands are in fog and where you can expect sunshine and a wonderfull view of the Alps from the Suchet (be carefull it can by busy on such days...).
Birdwise it is especially known to be one of the best spots in Switzerland for the stopover of the Mornellregenpfeifer in late august-begining of september. But the area is also good for less rare migrants and for breeding birds.
