Lake Girdev is good for Alpine birding in the Taurus Mountains. During the winter it is covered by ice. However, during spring and summer it is nice place to get a rest in the Muğla province. There are several houses which are used by especially locals. Also, these locals run their own places to sell coffee, tea and food. So, you can drive around the lake to see Weißstorch, Seeadler, Tafelente, Moorente and many more. Nice place with fresh air and abundant birds in the mountains. Also, around lake, there are many passerines such as Blaumerle ,Felsenkleiber and so on.
