Al Barsha Pond Park is a green oasis in the heart of Al Barsha. From the main entrance you can walk around the park under some trees with here and there some bushes. On the lawns you can find a lot of Wiedehopf and some other birds like Asian Pied Starling, Rotsteißbülbül and Weißohrbülbül. Around and in the water lots of Zwergtaucher, Stelzenläufer and Rotlappenkiebitz.

Al Barsha Pond Park is easily accessible via Sheikh Zayed Road or Al Khail Road. Free parking is available near the park entrances. From the hotels in Al Barsha 1 and the Mall of the Emirates you can walk to the pond. It will take you about 20 minutes. By Metro: Take the Red Line to Mall of the Emirates Station, then walk 20 minutes. By Bus: Several RTA bus routes stop nearby, including routes that connect from Mall of the Emirates.
The main entrance and parking is in front of the Al Mawakeb School. Exploring the park and pond will take you about 30 to 45 minutes, it's about a 2 km walk.
