Beschreibung
Blakeney Point is a National Nature Reserve and AONB. Thriving nesting site for Flußseeschwalbe, Küstenseeschwalbe, Brandseeschwalbe and Zwergseeschwalbe. Also Lachmöwe and occasional Schwarzkopfmöwe. Common and grey seals breed. Winter wildfowl such as Eiderente, Trauerente and Kurzschnabelgans. And rare passage autumn migrants such as Raubwürger, Spornpieper, Gelbbrauen-Laubsänger and Sperbergrasmücke. Schilfrohrsänger and Teichrohrsänger in the reed beds.

Parking at Cley for those attempting the long difficult walk on shifting shingle to the point. NB the Visitor Centre is currently closed. Park at Morton Quay or Blakeney Quay for boat trips. Check tide times as the car park can get flooded, also boats only run 4 hours either side of high tide. See the link to the tides table below.
