Coll RSPB reserve has a car park and visitor centre. Wachtelkönig breed in the area. Coll and Tiree have one third of the UK population. Berghänfling, Kornweihe and Merlin also breed. The island is a vital stopover and wintering area for arctic breeders such as Kurzschnabelgans, Greenland Bläßgans and Weißwangengans, Eistaucher, skuas, Meerstrandläufer, Steinwälzer and godwits. Atlantiksturmtaucher and storm petrels offshore.

Zugang
Coll is reached by ferry from Oban. Delays are likely. The reserve is six miles SW of Arinagour, pass the airstrip and turn left to Totronald.
