From the Bergente to the snowy white Polarmöwe, the birds that can turn up at Hollowell Reservoir provide hours of birding. Other bird species you might spot include Thorshühnchen, Alpenstrandläufer, Sandregenpfeifer as well as Wiesenschafstelze, Steinschmätzer, Schwarzkehlchen and Strandpieper. And, if you are lucky, you may even spot Fischadler and Baumfalke that regularly pay a visit. Note: Access to Hollowell Reservoir Nature Reserve is available for permit holders only (see more info below).

Access to Hollowell Reservoir Nature Reserve is available for permit holders only.
