Lunga is a small island, but a great place to spot seabirds. There is a large colony of Papageitaucher and on the cliffs nest Krähenscharbe, Trottellumme, Tordalk, Eissturmvogel and Dreizehenmöwe. Gryllteiste, Sturmschwalbe, Atlantiksturmtaucher and Felsentaube also breed on the island. Further can both the Skua and the Schmarotzerraubmöwe been seen.
