Canal towpaths: Linear habitats with scrub and trees, ideal for spotting birds like Höckerschwan and Eisvogel. Woodland margins: Drumpellier woods (4) attract Gimpel and Stieglitz during breeding seasons. The canal (5) supports surprising wildlife, including otter in Woodend Loch.
