Beschreibung
Nunhead Cemetery has the largest woodland area near the centre of London. A Victorian burial ground since 1840 is now a nature reserve. The area has many mature trees, some open areas and many overgrown scrubland sections. There is a seasonal spring fed pond (press STAR on map) in Autumn/Winter/Spring where Stockente, Kormoran, Silbermöwe, Heringsmöwe and Graureiher are usual. Sperber and Waldkauz are regularly seen as well as commoner Passerines. PLEASE KEEP TO ALL PATHS ONSITE.
