Beschreibung
In winter there are thousands of ducks and Singschwan at RSPB Ouse Washes. It's a magical spectacle. Kiebitz, Rotschenkel and Bekassine breed in spring and the area attracts good passage migrants in spring and autumn. Kranich are often seen year round and gather from autumn in flocks of nearly 100 if you're lucky to see them. It's out the way so usually quiet with minimal disturbance. Other birds that can be observed are Dunkler Wasserläufer, Alpenstrandläufer, Goldregenpfeifer, Rohrweihe, Uferschnepfe, Knäkente and Zwergschwan and a great variety of ducks.
